Book of Isaiah venerates Islam?
Here we’ll be addressing Osama Abdallah’s appeal to the
book of Isaiah for the verification of Islam. His article attempts to prove
that the “light until the gentiles” was given by Muhammad, the Arabs and Islam.
However no such interpretation of the Bible would prove this to be accurate. It
should be noted that this argument of finding Muhammad in the bible using
Isaiah 42 was already introduced by Dr. Baldawi, a true Islamic apologist,
while later added to answering-Christianity by Osama Abdallah. The very least
Mr. Abdallah could do is give credit to where it is due and admit that he isn’t
the first to invent this argument but only regurgitate it.
Introduction:
Let's look at Isaiah 42:6,11:
6.
"I, the LORD , have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your
hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a
light for the Gentiles,
......
11. Let the desert and its towns raise their voices; let the
settlements where Kedar lives rejoice. Let the people of Sela sing
for joy; let them shout from the mountaintops.
Important
Note: Kedar
is the son of Ishmael peace be upon him: "These are the names of
the sons of Ishmael, listed in the order of their birth: Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar,
Adbeel, Mibsam, (From the
NIV Bible, Genesis 25:13)"
The
people of Kedar are the original Arabs. They are today's Saudis
and Yemenis, and these are 100% Muslims! There is not a single
Saudi or Yemeni who is Christian today! They are nothing but
Muslims. So the "light of the Gentiles" and "Kedar
Lives rejoice" are clear Prophecies and Signs for the
Divine and Truthful Religion of Islam.
When we turn to Isaiah 42, in context, we find no such mention of the Arabs (Kedar) as being a light until the Gentiles. At best this is wishful thinking. All the passage mentions about Kedar is they, along with others, will rejoice over this light. Also what Osama Abdallah fails to realize is that the term “Gentile” has always been a reference to “Non-Jews”. Implying that the Arabs would be light until the Gentiles is implying that they are “Jews”! If Kedar are the original Arabs they can’t be Jews can they? Apparently Mr. Abdallah thinks so. No evidence in the Bible shows a Gentile being light to a Gentile. If this was the case then the Bible would have to differentiate Gentiles and Jews in this instance since the Gentile messenger would also be a light until the Jews (yes there are Jewish Muslims). Even Osama’s quote only says
let the settlements where Kedar lives rejoice
It says nothing about “Kedar being a light until the Gentiles”. Osama has equated “rejoicing to being a light to the world”. It is very easy to see how he jumped to this conclusion without even proving from the text itself that Kedar was a light to anyone. It is a well known fact that all Arabs on the Arabic Peninsular aren’t Muslim. Hence Osama’s lie is nothing more than an appeal to the emotion of the reader in trying to authenticate his false argument.

There is nowhere in the book of Isaiah where God mentioned
he would remove any covenant from the people of

According to God Almighty, David’s seed and his Kingdom would
be established “forever”. Now this presents a major problem for Mr. Abdallah
because we all know that “Kedar” or the “Arabs” aren’t the sons of David nor
are they his seed. Maybe he should start claiming that Muhammad is Jewish now!

Now notice these Quranic verses about the Jews:

The Jews say: Allah's hand is fettered. Their hands are fettered and they are accursed for saying so. Nay, but both His hands are spread out wide in bounty. He bestoweth as He will. That which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord is certain TO INCREASE THE CONTUMACY AND DISBELIEF OF MANY OF THEM, AND WE HAVE CAST AMONG THEM ENMITY AND HATRED till the Day of Resurrection. As often as they light a fire for war, Allah extinguisheth it. Their effort is for corruption in the land, and ALLAH LOVETH NOT CORRUPTERS. S. 5:64
Thou wilt find the most vehement of mankind in hostility to those who believe (to be) the Jews and the idolaters. And thou wilt find THE NEAREST OF THEM in affection to those who believe (to be) those who say: Lo! We are Christians. That is because there are among them priests and monks, and because they are not proud. When they listen to that which hath been revealed unto the messengers, thou seest their eyes overflow with tears because of their recognition of the Truth. They say: Our Lord, we believe. Inscribe us as among the witnesses. S. 5:82-83
The Jews are already described by the Quran as being the most vehement of mankind and Allah, the Islamic god, claims to cast hatred among them. It is obvious that Islam, Muhammad and Kedar were and still are enemies of the Jewish people. These clear Quranic verses illustrate clearly illustrate this point. Muhammad also carried this attitude throughout his actions which is recorded in his Sunnah:
Narrated Abu Burda:
Abu Musa said, "I
came to the Prophet along with two men (from the tribe) of Ash'ariyin, one on my right and the other on my left, while
Allah's Apostle was brushing his teeth (with a Siwak),
and both men asked him for some employment. The Prophet said, 'O Abu Musa (O 'Abdullah bin Qais!).' I
said, 'By Him Who sent you with the Truth, these two men did not tell me what
was in their hearts and I did not feel (realize) that they were seeking
employment.' As if I were looking now at his Siwak
being drawn to a corner under his lips, and he said, 'We
never (or, we do not) appoint for our affairs anyone who seeks to be employed.
But O Abu Musa! (or

Take a look at some of Muhammad’s last words before his death concerning the Jews:

'Aisha and 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas:
When the last moment of the life
of Allah's Apostle came he started putting
his 'Khamisa' on his face and when he felt hot and
short of breath he took it off his face and said, "MAY ALLAH CURSE THE
JEWS AND CHRISTIANS for they built the places of worship at the graves of their
Prophets." The Prophet was warning (Muslims) of what those had done. (Sahih Bukhari,
Volume 1, Book 8, Number 427)
While in the Quran we find this:
And the
Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is
the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. THEY IMITATE
THE SAYING OF THOSE WHO DISBELIEVE OF OLD. ALLAH (HIMSELF) FIGHTETH AGAINST THEM (Arabic: qaatalahumu llahu anna yu'fakoona--
Literally-May Allah KILL THEM) . HOW PERVERSE ARE THEY!

Compared to Galatians 5:14:
The
entire law is summed up in a single command: "LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR as
yourself" Gal. 5:14
Notice that Muhammad cursed both Jews and Christians in the
Hadith. Allah, through Muhammad, mentioned that he
should KILL them. Needless to say that this is totally against the teachings of
the bible which tells us that anyone who curses Christ and his followers aren't
of God in the first place:
Therefore
I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says,
"JESUS BE CURSED," and no one can say,
"Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:3
If Muslims claim that they weren't cursing Jesus directly
they would still be wrong since Jesus mentioned many times that whatever one
did to his followers they did to him:
"The
King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the
least of these brothers of mine, YOU DID FOR ME.' "Then he will say to
those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal
fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me
nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a
stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe
me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' "They
also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or
needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' "He will
reply, 'I tell you the truth, WHATEVER YOU DID NOT DO for one of the least
of these, you did not do for me.' "Then they will go away to eternal
punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." Matt 25:40-46
Blessed are you when men hate
you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, BECAUSE
OF THE SON OF MAN. Luke 6:22
Notice that Jesus considered people hating his followers as
hating him!!! The same can be said against the Jews and Islam’s hatred for them
also. Thankfully God already told us what he would do to the enemies of the
Jews:
And I will BEAT DOWN his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. Ps. 89:23
Even the Bible continues by saying this on God’s covenant
with David and his people, the Israelites:
My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven. If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments; Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. MY COVENANT WILL I NOT BREAK, NOR the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I WILL NOT LIE UNTO DAVID. His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah. Ps. 89:28-37

we read along.
Few
things you will notice in this article about the book of Isaiah:
1- In chapter Isaiah 42, there is a direct and clear
prophecy about the coming of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

In chapters Isaiah 43-54, we see GOD Almighty going back and forth between
denouncing the Jews and praising them.

GOD Almighty made a big statement in Isaiah 48:6-9 about giving unpredicted

would God praise a people he is going to take the covenant from? Last but not
least, giving prophecies against
"You
have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not admit them? "From
now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to
you. They are created now, and not long ago; you
have not heard of them before today.
So you cannot say, 'Yes, I knew of them.' You have neither heard nor
understood; from of old your ear has not been open. Well do I know
how treacherous you are; you were called a rebel from birth.
For my own name's sake I delay my wrath; for the sake
of my praise I hold it back from you, so as not to cut you off. (From the
NIV Bible, Isaiah 48:6-9)"
"So
I will disgrace the dignitaries of your temple, and I will consign
Jacob to destruction and

now, all you who light fires and provide yourselves with flaming torches, go,
walk in the light of your fires and of the torches you have set ablaze. This
is what you shall receive from my hand: You will lie down in torment.

In these
verses we see GOD Almighty declaring that He knows well how treacherous the

Even
the passages Osama uses in defense of his argument crumbles in light of the
fact of the Jews not being cut off from God and his covenant. Also Mr. Abdallah
fails to read the entire passage of Isaiah 48 since he knows that it disproves
his entire theory of “the covenant being removed from

ally chosen was Cyrus the King of Persia who defeated the Babylonians, and
freed the Jews, allowing them to return back to their land. All of Isaiah 48 is
related to this event which occurred over 2500 years ago. This future
punishment has already occurred. It has nothing to do with Islam or Muhammad.
God even says at the end of this chapter that “Jacob” or “

if Osama showed that

Abdallah’s usage of Isaiah 50 doesn’t specifically refer to
Who among you fears the LORD and obeys the word of his servant? Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God. But now, all you who light fires and provide yourselves with flaming torches, go, walk in the light of your fires and of the torches you have set ablaze. This is what you shall receive from my hand: You will lie down in torment. Isaiah 50:10-11
This passage is specifically talking about anyone who without light trusting in God. Hence, it is conditional upon an individual person’s actions and not an entire civilization. Those who obey God will prosper while those who disobey will lie down in torment. Anyone being tormented is “one who tries to light their own fire” and walk in the light of their own self-lit fire. The passage is specific into who it is describing. Unless Mr. Abdallah can show us that every one of the Jews at this time was disobeying God, he has no argument.

Let us look at the Noble Verses 17:4-10 "4. And We gave
(Clear) Warning to the Children of Israel in the Book, that twice would they do
mischief on the earth and be elated with mighty arrogance (and twice would they
be punished)!
5. When the first of the warnings came to pass, We sent against you Our servants given to terrible warfare:
They entered the very inmost parts of your homes; and it was a warning
(completely) fulfilled.
6. Then did We grant you the Return
as against them: We gave you increase in resources and sons, and made you the
more numerous in man-power.
7. If ye did well, ye did well for yourselves; if ye did
evil, (ye did it) against yourselves. So when the second of the warnings came
to pass, (We permitted your enemies) to disfigure your faces, and to enter your

if ye revert (to your sins), We shall revert (to Our
punishments): And we have made Hell a prison for those who reject
(all Faith).
9. Verily this Qur'an doth guide to
that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the

have a magnificent reward;
10. And to those who believe not in the Hereafter, (it announceth) that We have prepared
for them a Penalty Grievous (indeed)."
According to Noble Verses 17:4-10, Allah Almighty
allowed for the Jews before the Noble Quran was
revealed "that twice would they do mischief on the earth and be elated
with mighty arrogance (and twice would they be punished)!" The first time
they rose before the Noble Quran was revealed was
during the times of the Babylon Empire. When they did mischief on earth, Allah
Almighty decided to damn them by sending them the army of

The story of Gog and Magog and the Iron Gates

We must correct Osama’s saying of “Allah Almighty”, for it was YHWH Almighty who allowed his children to be chastised by the Babylonians. The word “Allah” in Hebrew is oak tree. In general there is no argument here for this statement is historically accurate. Osama continues by saying:
"The second doom was due to the rejection of the Message
of Jesus. 'To disfigure your faces' means to destroy any credit or power
you may have got: the face shows the personality of the man. Titus's
destruction of
Merivale in his Romans Under
the Empire gives a graphic account of the siege and final destruction (ed.
1890, 7:221-255). The population of
Osama Abdallah’s religion doesn’t adhere to the message of Jesus either. Hence, he like every other follower of Islam is going to suffer the same fate also. Let’s show you the message of Jesus in the Bible compared to the Quran:
Do not
think that I shall accuse you to the Father; it is Moses who accuses you, on
whom you set your hope. If you believed Moses, you would believe me, FOR HE
WROTE OF ME." John 5:45-46
Since Moses pointed to Jesus, according to Jesus himself,
what must we do to gain salvation? Jesus has the answer:
"He
who does not love Me DOES NOT KEEP MY WORDS;
and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me."
John 14:24
And this is the will of Him who
sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son AND
BELIEVES IN HIM may have everlasting life; and I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT
THE LAST DAY." John 6:40
Most assuredly, I SAY TO YOU, he
who believes in Me HAS EVERLASTING LIFE. John 6:47
"Moreover, the Father judges
no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the
Son JUST AS they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not
honor the Father, who sent him." John 5:22-23
Jesus said to her, "I AM
THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. He WHO BELIEVES IN ME, though he may die, he
shall live. And whoever lives and BELIEVES IN ME shall never die. Do
you believe this?" She said to Him, "Yes, Lord, [Kurios in Greek, Yahweh in Hebrew]
I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the

Jesus said to him, "I AM
the way, the truth, and THE LIFE. NO ONE comes to the Father EXCEPT
THROUGH ME. "If you had known Me, you would
have known My Father also; and FROM NOW ON YOU KNOW HIM AND HAVE SEEN HIM."
John 14:6-7
And,
For God
so loved the world that He gave HIS ONLY begotten Son, that WHOEVER
BELIEVES IN HIM should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the
world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John
3:16-17
The Bible clearly provides us with the answer as to how all
people can be saved by listening to Jesus. They must first love the LORD GOD
and then believe his revelations. After believing his revelations they would be
pointed to Jesus, according to Jesus himself. After being pointed to Jesus they
must:
1. Believe in Jesus as the Son of God
2. Believe that he is the resurrection and the life
3. Honor him as one would Honor God the father equally
4. Keep his words
This is the exact opposite of what both most of the Jews and all of Islam believes. According to Muhammad:
And the
Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the

the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah disdaineth
(aught) save that He shall perfect His light, however much the disbelievers are
averse. He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the
guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to PREVAIL OVER ALL
RELIGION, however much the idolaters may be averse. O ye who believe! Lo! many of the (Jewish) rabbis and the (Christian) monks devour
the wealth of mankind wantonly and debar (men) from the way of Allah. They who
hoard up gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah, unto them give
tidings (O Muhammad) of a painful doom, On the day when it will (all) be heated
in the fire of hell, and their foreheads and their flanks and their backs will
be branded therewith (and it will be said unto them): Here is that which ye
hoarded for yourselves. Now taste of what ye used to hoard. S. 9:30-35
And,
And to
warn those who say: Allah hath chosen a son, (A thing) whereof they
have no knowledge, nor (had) their fathers, Dreadful
is the word that cometh out of their mouths. THEY SPEAK NAUGHT BUT A LIE.
S. 18:6-7
According to Jesus’ own message, Muhammad, Islam and any Arab who follows these Quranic teachings, will come under the condemnation of God and will be lost forever. I would love to see Jesus say in validation of Islam:
Osama Abdallah couldn’t show you anywhere in the Bible or historical Christianity where such statements, implied or explicit was ever taught by Jesus. His only source of information stems from his Quran, a pagan document invented 600 years after Jesus. In reality, in spite of all his rhetoric Osama’s religion is no different from other pagan cults who invent their own false teachings about Jesus and try to judge the world based on what they invented! Islam is nothing more than the words of Muhammad by the testimony of Muhammad.
The punishment for the Jews has not ended. Allah
Almighty will continue punishing them for all the evil that they cause in life
until they repent. Notice that He, the Almighty, said: "but if ye
revert (to your sins), We shall revert (to Our
punishments).... (The Noble Quran, 17:8)"
This means that He, the Almighty, Would repeat history with them and cause them
to face destructions again if they don't stop causing mischief and evil here on
earth.

What evil exactly has the Jews been committing against everybody? We know they rejected Jesus and did sins throughout the biblical times but the scriptures show us that the wrath against the Jews would come from cynics like Muhammad who hate them just because they are Jewish.
