1.what is optimal size for the slider pictures? They all seem to be coming out different
2. What is the best size for the services pics. I want the small square ones but the new ones are changing the layout of the page.
3. How can I change the font on the slider text? I tried using some code, but they are fuzzy and look off.thanks

The default image size for homepage slider image is 1400 x 500 pixel.
Please use all images of same size that of default image size.The default image size for services section is 300 x 210 pixel.
To option is not available to change the font of the slider text.
Useing some css code you can change the font type.Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Basic Settings -> Custom CSS
and use below csss code and change the font name.slide_info h2 { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif }
.slide_info p { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif }Please check the documentation to customize the theme

I have never seen this before, if someone is reading the text further down the page, everytime the slider changes, all the text on the page goes up & down.I have tried all the settings in slider controls.

It seems that one of the installed plugin is conflicting with the slider script.
Please check by deactivation all the plugins.Please send WordPress admin login details at [email protected] so we can check and solve this issue quickly.

Do you know of any photo compression plugins that might work?Richard
